Do I need a referral?
A referral is not essential as you can self-refer. You can pay privately or access private health insurance but you will not be eligible for Medicare rebates. Please note that for certain mental health conditions, you may need to work with other health professionals (like a GP or dietitian) to ensure that you receive the best care.

Current Medicare rebate: $141.85 (updated 1 July 2024)
With a Mental Health Care Plan, you are entitled to 10 sessions per calendar year. You are required to see your GP after session 6 to receive an additional 4 sessions.
With an Eating Disorders Care Plan, you are entitled to 40 sessions every 12 months. You are required to see your GP after session 10 to receive an additional 10 sessions. After session 20, a psychiatrist review is required to access an additional 20 sessions.
Please note that this is NOT a bulk billing practice.

What is your cancellation policy?
